This rapid test is made from a saliva sample collected from a healthy adult. It detects the nucleocapsid antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It can be used to test for infection in asymptomatic individuals who have contact with a confirmed case or for epidemiological reasons.

The kit can also test specimens from asymptomatic individuals limited to contacts of confirmed or probable cases or to other epidemiological reasons to suspect a COVID-19 infection.
